Fishing equipment is included. We provide rods, pumps, buckets, bait spoon and bait, but if you prefer, you can also bring your own equipment.

Québec residents and tourists do not need a permit to fish in the Port of Québec Nordik Village.

We seed brook trout and the quota is three (3) fish per person.

If you wish to catch more fish, you will need to purchase a second fishing ticket allowing you to catch two (2) additional fish since the daily quota issued by legislation is five (5) brook trout.

For other species of fish in the basin, quotas are the same as those allowed by legislation. To see the quotas for other species in the basin, visit the Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs website.

​No, but it is highly recommended because if we are full that day, you will not be able to go fishing. To ensure access, it is better to reserve in advance. Moreover, reserving in advance means that you will be able to pick up your equipment faster upon arrival.

Yes, you may bring your own food. Please note, however, that it is prohibited to bring alcoholic beverages on site. We also ask that you dispose of your trash in the designated locations.

Yes. However, we recommend that someone accompany you.

If we need to close the site, you will automatically receive an e-mail to reschedule your reservation or request a refund if you are unable to reschedule.

If you must cancel for personal reasons, you have up to 48 hours prior to the date of your activity to request a full reimbursement. Outside of this timeframe, no refunds are issued.

Unfortunately, fish die when we put them back in water. If you are not able to keep the fish that you have fished, please ask the fishing guides onsite for more information.

Ice fishing is an outdoor sport. You should, therefore, dress warmly according to the weather that day. You can also warm yourself up in the heated tent.

Yes, you may bring your own chairs, but it is not required. The Port of Québec Village Nordik has ice fishing chairs that you can use.

No. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased a fishing licence.

Yes, dogs are welcome if they are on leash at all times.

Yes, permanent washrooms are available on site.
